Terrapin and Toad is an ongoing series of illustrations, paintings and prints by Martinus van Tee with behind the scenes help from Natasha Venzke. The work is inspired by folk songs, fairy tales, nursery rhymes and the Overberg landscape of the Western Cape.
The name Terrapin and Toad refers to a verse in the Woody Guthrie recording of “Cumberland Gap”.
