Over the next 3 weeks, we’ll be telling you more about the other 3 illustrators who are part of Studio Clowder.
Linki Lutz was born September 1990 in Stellenbosch, South Africa, where she currently works as an artist and illustrator. In 2013 she graduated from Stellenbosch University with a cum laude for her practical in BA VA (Fine Arts) and was invited to participate in the Greatest Hits 2013 exhibition at the AVA Gallery in Cape Town.
Inspired by her godfather and acclaimed illustrator, Piet Grobler, Linki Lutz decided from an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in art illustration. To date, Linki has illustrated 10 published educational children’s books. In 2015 Linki was selected as one of the winners of the World Wide Picture Book Illustration Competition (WWPBIC.) The winning illustrations were part of a travelling exhibition that was shown in the UK, Germany, China and the Netherlands.
Linki spends most of her time drawing, painting, writing and singing experimental music, creating elaborate face art designs on herself and having conversations with her Russian Blue cat, Kafka Kasparin.
